In 1980, a young man named Terry Fox became a Canadian hero when he attempted to run from one end of Canada to the other, at a pace of one marathon per day, despite having lost one of his legs to cancer. Terry only made it about halfway before his cancer returned and took his life, but he’s endured as a Canadian national icon ever since.
Now, another Canadian hero is imitating Terry’s feat, not to raise cancer awareness, but to protest against the Trudeau government’s demonic vaccine mandates and other Covid tyranny.
James Topp is a Canadian soldier with twenty-eight years of service. He served his country in Afghanistan, and in fact his tenure in the Canadian armed forces covers the entire duration of that war.
Canada’s reward for nearly three decades of service has been to charge James with misconduct, because he spoke out against vaccine mandates while in uniform. He is now in the process of being separated from the Canadian military. But James is not letting himself be silenced. For the past two months, he has been marching across Canada, with a military rucksack on his back, at a pace of 18 to 25 miles a day, every day. He started at a statue of Terry Fox in British Columbia, and is marching all the way to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Ottawa, Canada’s capital.
On his website, James writes, quote: “This march exists for 3 reasons: First, James is protesting federal government mandates that require, as a condition for employment or continued employment, vaccination, testing, quarantine, and/or isolation. Second, James has stepped forward to speak on behalf of those personnel employed by the federal government or otherwise who have been denied access to employment and services, who have lost income and have suffered from damaged relationships due to the imposition of a medical procedure. And third, James has also stepped forward to speak on behalf of those who have, through the introduction of false constructs surrounding choices and consequences, been pressured into taking part in medical procedures that they would not otherwise have accepted.
You can bet that if James were a transgender activist or demanding that we ban cars to stop global warming, he’d be an international celebrity. But he’s just marching for freedom and basic human rights, the very things the Trudeau government has taken away, so instead the Canadian establishment is determined to keep him hidden away.
