Thanks to the cancerous growth of the Washington D.C. metro area, Virginia is no longer a competitive state in presidential elections. But it’s still an important state for control of Congress. It has several of the competitive districts that have to be flipped in order to kick Democrats out of the House. But as you know, it’s not enough to just have a Republican in a House seat. We had a big majority for eight straight years from 2010 to 2018, and what did we get out of it? Thanks to John Boehner and Paul Ryan, not much. We want America-first Republicans who won’t just go back to the Boehner/Ryan ideology of outsourcing this country’s entire economy to China, giving the jobs here to Central Americans, and then taking a job on the board of Fox News as a payoff.
Tomorrow is primary day in Virginia. Jarome Bell is running in the Republican primary for Virginia’s second district. This district voted Trump in 2016, but voted Democratic in 2018 and 2020. It’s the kind of seat we have to flip back, and that we should flip back – with the right candidate.
We believe that Bell is the right candidate. He’s for securing the border, fighting voter fraud, preserving the Second Amendment, and letting parents protect their children from school-sanctioned pedophiles. He has a real America first platform. More to the point, his top GOP opponent doesn’t. Jen Kiggans has the endorsement of Kevin McCarthy, which is bad enough, but there’s more.
Kiggans voted to support the Virginia Values Act, a bill which massive expanded requirements to accommodate transgender people. The Virginia Department of Education cited the bill Kiggans voted for when it said that every school district in the state had to use “preferred pronouns” and let men into girls’ bathrooms.
No wonder McCarthy likes her. It’s his favorite type of fake Republican “leadership”: Surrender on everything, then cash in later.
