These are my notes from listening back to Kurt Olson and Lindell.
Dennis Montgomery was a DOD contractor for many years. He developed the software “Etrepid” in 2004 for the US intelligence agencies to track terrorists.
In 2005, he learned that instead of tracking terrorists, they turned around and used his technology to spy on Americans, including judges and congressmen.
Years later, they raided Montgomery’s home and seized all of the evidence of spying and interference in elections.
In 2007, during the litigation of a completely different matter between Dennis and his former business partner, the DNI filed a motion to put all of the spying evidence under a protective order as a matter of national security.
Then in 2009, Dennis acquired a brand NEW contract with intelligence to allow the FBI to continue using Etrepid software under the direction of James Clapper (weird, given that he already knew they used Etrepid to spy on Americans as early as 2005).
Dennis says he met with a bunch of people and filed whistleblower complaints that they were using it to spy on Americans (again?).
…And then, in 2020, Dennis used his software (that was used by intelligence to spy on Americans) to collect the PCAPs.
He BELIEVES it falls under the protective order from the DNI wayyyy back in 2007 and therefore could face serious consequences for releasing it.
However, he agreed to give it to Mike Lindell. Mike Lindell says he purchased it (probably for a looooooot of money) and has it in his possession.
Soooo…
1) Why was the symposium scheduled in the first place if it was all under protective order?
2) Why are we finding this out now?
3) Why wasn’t the motion to lift the protective order filed in January 2021?
4) If Mike owns it, what’s preventing him from releasing it?
