Might as well cue in the Martin Scorsese black-and-white clip, because we can safely say – cinema is back. We had Barbenheimer earlier in the summer, followed by Killers of the Flower Moon alongside The Killer. Now, we have Saltburn.
It’s been a packed year for cinephiles worldwide, with Irish stars stealing our hearts and screens for the past few months. In the midst of this cinematic wave, we’ve been neglecting one of Ireland’s pride and joys: Barry Keoghan. Thankfully, Hollywood hasn’t forgotten him, as Saltburn leaves the theatre rooms with conflicting reviews going alongside it.
Admittedly, the film looks delightfully wacky, but isn’t that part of the fun? Sadly, Saltburn just bid adieu to theaters soon, so if you missed its theatrical run, fear not. Here’s when you can catch it on streaming.
Where to watch Saltburn?
From today onwards, you can finally catch Saltburn on Prime Video. Earlier this month, Amazon confirmed that Saltburn would enter the platform in December 2022. Although its reign in theatres was brief, Saltburn still garnered some impressive weeks after its release.
Saltburn made its big-screen debut on November 17, raking in an impressive $7.1 million USD in its first week. Despite being declared a favorite by many audience members, Saltburn‘s reviews are conflicting, to say the least. Currently, the comedy/thriller is ranking at a modest 72% on Rotten Tomatoes.
However, for those of us who prefer to skip the silver screen – especially during the busiest time of the year – Keoghan and Jacob Elordi’s explicit shenanigans are finally available to watch from the comfort of our home. For better and for worse.
