New York Times Fact Checks Itself – Major Changes In Not Just One Story… [VIDEO]

There has been a massive debate and war around disinformation as the COVID-19 pandemic caused many to be concerned about what was being spread online. At the same time, the Democrats used the term disinformation to spread accusations of their own. For some time, social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter were given the power to deem what they believed to be fact or fiction.

That changed when billionaire and free speech lover, Elon Musk, moved to buy Twitter. Again, all the efforts from the Democrats and Biden administration have supposedly been in the name of truth. That might be interesting when knowing that the news outlet, The New York Times, was caught spreading blatant lies about COVID-19 and the number of children who died from the virus.

Exposing the New York Times, Fox News’ Laura Ingraham detailed how the outlet claimed 4000 children had died. In reality, that number wasn’t deaths but children who had been diagnosed. The host stated, “The New York Times last night made a major correction to a story about children and COVID. Now they initially declared nearly 4000 Children ages five to 11 had died from a COVID-related illness. That sounds scary, right? And it could terrify parents across the country, but in reality, that was the number of children diagnosed. Now, this is from the same reporter, by the way, who claimed nearly 900,000 children had been hospitalized with COVID. At the time, the number was actually 63,000. I guess that’s what you get if you rely on the New York Times for your facts.”

Obviously, this isn’t the first time the mainstream media or news outlets have been caught spreading fear among the public. Back in September, host Bill Maher criticized Jimmy Kimmel for scaring people. “I have to cite a survey that was in The New York Times, which is a liberal paper, so they weren’t looking for this answer. The question was: ‘What do you think the chances are that you would have to go to the hospital if you got COVID?’

And Democrats thought that was way higher than Republicans,” Maher continued. “The answer is between 1% and 5%. Okay? Forty-one percent of Democrats thought it was over 50%. Another 28% thought it was 20 – 49%. So, 70% of Democrats thought it was way, way, way higher than it really was. Liberal media has to take a little responsibility for that. For scaring the sh—t out of people.”

Like many, Maher has grown incredibly agitated by the entire COVID-19 agenda, once stating, “Don’t spin me when it comes to my health. Over the past year, the COVID pandemic has prompted the medical establishment, the media, and the government, to take a ‘scared straight’ approach to getting the public to comply with their recommendations. Well, I’m from a different school. Give it to me straight, doc, because in the long run, that always works better than ‘You can’t handle the truth.’”

Red Voice Media would like to make a point of clarification on why we do not refer to any shot related to COVID-19 as a “vaccine.” According to the CDC, the definition of a vaccine necessitates that said vaccine have a lasting effect of at least one year in preventing the contraction of the virus or disease it’s intended to fight. Because all of the COVID-19 shots thus far available have barely offered six months of protection, and even then not absolute, Red Voice Media has made the decision hereafter to no longer refer to the Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson substances as vaccinations.
